EVELYN PADDINGTON, BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA
Evelyn stitches together a pre-1911 cottage with contemporary additions, creating a new diagram for living that is immersed in landscape. The architecture is determined by the “backyard” transplanted at the heart of the site. Rooms enveloping the garden heart borrow light, breeze and outlook from this landscaped core.
